Cooking with Reon Hobson, Friday 12 July 2016
Reon Hobson, NZ Sheep and Beef Ambassador had us trying new foods and learning handy cooking tricks during his workshop on Friday.
Reon is passionate about NZ beef and lamb and had us sampling cuts of meat some of us thought we would never try like beef heart and sweet breads. The meat dishes were paired with amazing purees and unusual types of salad greens, accompanied by beautiful red wine from Kurow Estate. We had a lot of laughs around the kitchen island as Reon demonstrated his cooking techniques, we then finished off outside in the winter sun for our main course and dessert. A thoroughly enjoyable day!
